Köln Arcaden

Köln · 2021 · approx. 100 m²

At Köln Arcaden, everyday passage through a commercial structure becomes the brief. Colour and rhythm connect levels that would otherwise remain separate — site-specific art tested against retail architecture, signage and movement.

Legibility amid signage and movement is a stricter test than a quiet industrial hall. The existing construction still informs the composition.

Within Köln’s varied fabric, the work shows how the same visual attitude meets retail architecture without treating it as a billboard frame alone.
