PAC-MAN / RUBUG — Zeche Westerholt
At Zeche Westerholt, BRAND worked with industrial architecture as the board itself: brickwork and window rhythm set the rules. The familiar figure is less an illustration than a reading of the elevation — facade art bound to structure and approach distance.
Openings interrupt and complete the image at once. Distance matters: from approach roads the work holds as a system; up close, construction and graphic edge meet line by line.
Playful in motif, precise in construction — industrial heritage as the board on which the language operates.
